Ms. Lisa Ortiz
Director
Lisa Ortiz, RScP, has served Ahiah Center for Spiritual Living as Director Youth and Family Ministries since October 2021. She began studying Science of Mind in 2015 when she joined Seal Beach Center for Spiritual Living. Within a couple weeks she was volunteering every Sunday for the Youth Program and soon after became lead teacher, then assistant director and eventually Director of the Youth Program. Lisa had found her passion! During this time Lisa took as many Science of Mind classes and workshops as possible which led her to becoming a Licensed Practitioner in June 2021. Lisa is so happy to have found her spiritual home and family here at Ahiah. She is dedicated and passionate about helping our youth discover their own unique greatness and learn essential spiritual tools that assist them in creating loving and fulfilling lives for themselves.
Malachi Valenzuela-Mier has been part of the Centers for Spiritual Living Youth Program since 2016 where he started as a member of the Seal Beach CSL Teen Group. Malachi's love and dedication to the Science of Mind principles has led him to teen leadership at Ahiah, where he helps the youth who visit cultivate ideas about what it means to be compassionate, confident, and peaceful through conversation and workshops. Malachi has also been actively involved in the CSL Teen camps as a camper, and as an advisor. Malachi's fun, joyful personality and his dedication to service make him a loved and essential member of this community, and to the Ahiah Youth program.
